Ambit Energy started in Texas, but now have offer services in New York, Illinois, Maryland and Pennsylvania. They are expected to add more states in the near future.

The Pay Plan

Ambit Energy is now one of many multi-level-marketing (mlm) plans where you can make money as a consultant for their company. You make residual income by signing customers up for discounted electricity or you can sign up more consultants under you in which you are paid residual income on the consultant and on each new consultant that they sign up, so on, for a seemingly endless amount of possible income.

In summary, Ambit Energy does provide the opportunity to make a decent residual income. Of course, there are factors involved in whether or not you will be successful in this business. First, you must get people to sign up. That may not always be as easy said as done. Also, to become a consultant for Ambit Energy, you must pay $400 to start-up. This has caused some people to view the opportunity as the “Ambit Energy Scam.” The money can be a problem for some people, but it can also be an incentive to work hard at your business so that you will be able to make that money back and also make a decent profit. Of course, there are always going to be those who didn’t do well at it, so some will automatically say “Ambit Energy scam.”
